On a wind-swept Saturday morning in Bangkok, just before a business call, Alice Hang made time to invest in something so many founders overlook: visual storytelling that truly reflects who they are.
Alice is the kind of woman who builds communities before breakfast.
She’s the founder of GPW (Global Professional Women)—a network of over 1,200 women that’s grown in just eight months. She hosts networking events that bring together high-impact voices, empowers women in tech, and builds startups like Conexipro, a digital business card platform that’s already being used at GPW events to spark connection.
She's also the CEO of ADI Digi, a company helping early-stage startups scale their remote teams compliantly, navigating the complexity of EOR agreements and payroll with ease. With over 3,000 followers on LinkedIn, Alice is a known voice for leadership, innovation, and creating impact across borders.
When we met over coffee to plan her personal branding shoot, her intention was clear:
“I want to be seen as inspiring, full of positive energy, and quietly confident.”

We worked together—styling remotely over WhatsApp—to curate outfits from her own wardrobe in a palette of black, white, and her signature red. It was important that she felt like herself: composed, empowered, and clear in her presence.
I designed a posing mood board to reflect her multifaceted role—founder, strategist, speaker, connector. We captured strong, standing poses with hands on hips to channel her quiet authority, as well as relaxed seated shots for an approachable feel. We also included “in-action” scenes of her with a laptop, tablet, and notebook—mirroring the behind-the-scenes pace of her workdays.

We shot on location at her residence’s co-working space and rooftop garden, with a breathtaking view of Bangkok's skyline. The wind danced through her hair—sometimes too much—and the rooftop light proved a little too harsh. So I pulled us back into the cool shadows of the co-working space, letting the natural light do its soft, flattering work.
The shift allowed us to slow down, experiment with angles, and capture Alice in her element: thinking deeply, moving intentionally, and quietly lighting up any room she’s in. At one point, a neighbour passing by complimented her, adding an unexpected spark to her already radiant smile.

These images were created for Alice’s continued growth as a LinkedIn thought leader and public speaker, and to support her upcoming community-building initiatives. They’re designed to work hard for her—on speaker decks, event banners, profile images, and content that reflects her multidimensional work and presence.
What she shared after the shoot is the greatest compliment I could ask for:
“Joelle has a true gift, not just in photography, but in truly seeing people. She took the time to understand my personality, my lifestyle, and what I wanted to express, then translated that into a visual story that felt beautifully and authentically me... She made the whole experience feel easy and inspiring.”

If you’re a founder, community builder, or entrepreneur in Bangkok looking to elevate your personal brand with imagery that feels intentional, elegant, and unmistakably you—this is the kind of work I live for.
Let’s create something you’ll be proud to show the world.
